Engineering A Better Future for Students in Our Community

At our Agency, we understand the value and importance of education, especially across all levels of schooling. We appreciate organizations that not only support the furthering of knowledge but also provide resources for students who may need the extra help to unlock their potential. The Stephen Shane Fincher Foundation is among these organizations as they help mainly post-secondary learners with scholarships in the areas of math, engineering, and science.

 

Following the untimely death of Steve Fincher, a “larger than life” alumnus of North Carolina State University School of Engineering and custom builder in the Raleigh community, the Stephen Shane Fincher Memorial Foundation (“Foundation”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit company, was established in 2009. Its mission is to inspire students in Cumberland County Schools to build a career in mathematics, science, and engineering, to promote the growth of values-based leaders, and to provide scholarship funds to students studying mathematics, science, and/or engineering at post-secondary organizations in North Carolina who meet need-based and/or merit-based requirements.
